VAN STRAATEN AND TAUSCH CREATE THREE STANDS WITH THEIR OWN DNA FOR MEDICA

MEDICA is the world's biggest medical trade fair and is held in Düsseldorf every year. This year, the trade fair took place from 16 to 19 November inclusive. Tausch Brand Sensations approached Van Straaten to develop and produce the graphic elements for stands to be built for Omron, CGM and Primedic.

 

CGM and Omron have used Tausch before. Both of the stands created for these companies were built from materials that Tausch bought several years ago and that it uses at both the MEDICA and other trade fairs every year. However, this doesn't mean that these stands are ready-made: Tausch always joins forces with Van Straaten to introduce some form of visual innovation.

DIFFERENT

The three stands are very different to each other in terms of material and size. Because the stands intended for CGM and Omron have already been built, the turnover time needed to redevelop them was quite short. The updated designs were approved during the summer months, after which Tausch turned its attention to technical aspects six weeks before the start date for the trade fair. A design agency was brought in to help with the stand for Primedic, while Tausch was responsible for stand logistics and stand set-up/take-down. Given the need to come up with a completely new concept, the turnaround time necessary was longer. Van Straaten developed all of the visual branding for the stands, including full colour canvases and vinyl stickers.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO MAKE AN IMPESSION ON THE TRADESHOW FLOOR?

This means that Van Straaten is able to take over some work from us - mainly quality control and layout activities - putting us in a position to achieve greater efficiency. Although Van Straaten tests everything extensively itself, there are times when things need to be tweaked on location. OWN DNA
