Until recently, backlit fabric for lightboxes could only be printed with UV. The Backlit SEG 510 DS changes that. It is our first backlit material suitable for dye sublimation printing, combining the vivid colour depth of sublimation with the even light transmission that lightbox applications demand.
The fabric is 100% knitted polyester, weighs 235 gsm and reaches a maximum print width of 505 cm. A light transmission of 58% ensures consistent backlit performance across the full width. With just 2% stretch in length and 1% in width, it sits taut in the frame without distortion. The crease-free construction means it arrives ready to install.
The Backlit SEG 510 DS is certified FR EN 13501-1 (B-s1, d0), Oeko-Tex and REACH compliant, and suitable for both indoor lightbox and outdoor backlit applications.
