Van Straaten was found and selected by Microsoft, because we supply Pearl, UV backlit printed textile. Our client built metal frames and wooden cabinets for Best Buy displays across the US and Canada, and after doing R&D together, and doing multiple tests to see what the optimal light source, and depth of displays should be, Van Straaten was selected as a preferred supplier based on quality and material.
What we delivered
Van Straaten created displays sized 1221.5 mm x 1382.5 mm, the front of the display was covered with a high end backlit material named Pearl. That is a non-fraying and crease-free material, which is certified worldwide and is known for its high density weft, up to 510 cm. This resulted in an integrated lightbox with stunning backlit visuals.
Each graphic was individually packaged and bulk shipped on pallets to distribution centers across the US.
