Why Van Straaten?
For Intellibed’s (now Purple) headquarters, Van Straaten was selected to build showroom upgrades, with the ability to change visuals. Van Straaten made use of a large single-sided lightbox, and a custom built wall frame.
Intellibed decided to partner up with van Straaten to upgrade their showroom especially because of them being known for providing endless possibilities in terms of changing visuals. Producing cost effective solutions of high quality, and delivering pinpoint accuracy.
What we delivered
Our client custom built a laminated wooden structure that was placed over a featured bed. A custom single sided Heavy 27 frame was custom built, with curved corners to perfectly fit the interior radius of the wooden structure. Behind the Blockout Stretch, dye sub printed material, a 16 gauge thin metal sheet was placed, to hold 3D contour cut letters with self adhesive magnetic strips mounted to the back.
On the wall, a 50 cm x 20 cm single sided lightbox was placed, using our Lightbox-90 profile. The font was covered with a high end backlit material, named Pearl. A non fraying and crease free material which is certified worldwide and is known for its high density weft, up to 510 cm
Van Straaten made use of SEG (Silicone Edged Graphics), a cost effective solution because they can be installed very easily. Another advantage is that for new graphics only the actual square feet are calculated that need to be replaced or covered.
