Tot voor kort kon backlit doek voor lichtbakken alleen met UV worden geprint. Met Backlit SEG 510 DS verandert dat. Het is ons eerste backlit materiaal dat geschikt is voor sublimatieprinten. Het materiaal biedt de gelijkmatige lichtdoorlaatbaarheid die lichtbakapplicaties nodig hebben, en tegelijkertijd de levendige kleuren van sublimatieprints. Het materiaal is licht, kreukvrij en een fantastisch, duurzaam alternatief voor UV-gebaseerde backlitmaterialen, die Van Straaten om die reden aan het uitfaseren is.
Het doek bestaat uit 100% gebreid polyester, weegt 235 gsm en heeft een maximale printbreedte van 505 cm. Een lichtdoorlaatbaarheid van 58% zorgt voor consistente backlit prestaties over de volledige breedte. Met slechts 2% rek in de lengte en 1% in de breedte blijft het doek strak in het frame zonder vervorming. De kreukvrije constructie betekent dat het gebruiksklaar aankomt.
De Backlit SEG 510 DS is gecertificeerd FR EN 13501-1 (B-s1, d0), voldoet aan Oeko-Tex en REACH, en is geschikt voor zowel indoor lichtbak- als outdoor backlit toepassingen.
