About the role
As Account Manager, you’ll take the lead in identifying and developing opportunities with new clients and unexplored markets. You will also tap into our international database and work under the guidance of a Managing Partner to define and implement strategies that support both revenue and business development goals.
You’ll be well-versed in our full product portfolio and capable of exploring new applications or markets based on Van Straaten’s production capabilities. You’re a natural networker and business developer, with a strong affinity for (online) marketing and lead generation. You enjoy sparring with internal teams and thinking along about sales strategies and propositions.
Key responsibilities
- Organize and prepare meetings with prospects, including setting up presentations.
- Acquire new clients and approach existing ones to explore new applications and opportunities.
- Collaborate with potential customers to develop new applications and translate these into internal actions.
- Deliver on annual sales targets and agreed-upon KPIs.
- Maximize identified opportunities.
- Ensure accurate and consistent administration in Salesforce.
- Share insights into market and sales developments with the Managing Partner.
- Provide timely feedback to management on market developments and overall progress.
What we’re looking for
- Higher professional education (HBO level), with completed commercial training or courses.
- At least 5 years of relevant and proven success in a similar role.
- Affinity with brand experience, visual communication, and visual branding.
- Proficiency with modern communication and admin tools, including Salesforce, Office, and ERP/CRM systems.
- Experience and vision in sales, marketing, and digital media.
- Willingness to become a specialist in production technologies and materials.
- Affinity with our products or target audience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in Dutch is required. Knowledge of German is a plus.

Salary indication: €3,500 – €5,500 gross per month based on 40 hours per week, depending on experience, education, and demonstrated skills.
