As Project Manager at Van Straaten, you’ll be part of our sales team and play a key role in supporting the sales process and managing client relationships, both direct and through partners. You’ll work closely with our account and new business managers, helping them stay in touch with customers and preparing quotes.

You’ll also support clients in using our order portal and advise them on preparing or correcting print files. Thanks to our modern ERP/order portal system, this role is shifting from manual input to client guidance and smart advising, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and adding value.

Your role as project manager

  • Support the sales team in all daily tasks
  • Help clients and partners with orders, quotes and print file corrections
  • Guide internal and external projects from start to finish
  • Take a commercial and advisory role toward clients and prospects
  • Work within our order portal and CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Report to the Sales Manager and management team

Key responsibilities

  • Provide professional support to account managers for client communication and relationship management
  • Ensure complete and accurate data entry in CRM/sales systems
  • Monitor quotes, confirmations, and client follow-ups
  • Support clients with print file issues and make necessary adjustments
  • Create and archive production files and project documentation
  • Handle specific project purchases and protect profit margins
  • Prepare quotes and actively manage the sales process
  • Spot opportunities for upselling and improving margins
  • Help grow and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support clients and prospects during the order process and file submission

Your profile

  • Completed MBO-4 education (or equivalent)
  • One or more completed commercial trainings or courses
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Large Format Print, Displays, or a graphics-related sector — experience in a family business is a plus
  • Skilled in MS Office and basic Adobe file handling
  • Familiar with ERP and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Affinity with Van Straaten’s products and clients is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
